Zagreb Restaurant Week
Restaurant Week is a semi-annual dining event established to introduce diners to the vast array of restaurants through specially priced three-course menus. The event is a huge success among residents and tourists excited to dine at top restaurants for a fraction of the usual cost— 100 kn for a three-course lunch or dinner. Most of the restaurants include an aperitif or a glass of wine in the price.

The prices of the regular offer are at least 50 percent higher so this is a great chance to try something new for less money.
First Restaurant Week in 2015. will take place between 6th and 15th of March. Reservations can be made from February 27th 2015. at 12 pm and can be made with restaurants directly. The restaurants in this year's event will be announced soon on the official website of the event.

The Restaurant Week is inspired by similar events in New York and London. It takes place two times a year – in early March and at the beginning of October. The event is more and more popular every year and restaurants are usually overbooked. It's a real festival of high gastronomy and a great opportunity to spend some quality time with your friends while enjoying in excellent food. Zagreb Coffee & Chocofest
If you're addicted to chocolate or coffee, this is THE place to be for you. Very simply put – it's all about those sweet guilty pleasures.

The aim of this festival is to present the best Croatian and international chocolates and coffees. Various promotions are held, along with presentations, workshops and sale.
There are many Croatian and foreign manufacturers and importers who are presenting the latest trends in gastronomy and industry of coffee and chocolate.
Choco-artists will show you their own ways of presenting chocolate in different techniques and visitors are able to enjoy numerous educational programs, cooking shows, presentations of production and preparation of coffee and chocolate. All that with the exclusive sale of products.

This year's Zagreb Coffee & Chocofest will be held from 12th to 15th of February in the premises of the Croatian Association of Artists at Trg žrtava fašizma.
One of the guests will be Slovenian „doctor for chocolate“, pastry chef, culinary blogger, consultant and artist Gorazd Potočnik. He'll present his collection of pictures made from chocolate called "My Chocolate appearance of flavors".
The other prominent guest comes from Italy. Monica Meschini is a woman with a title of Chocolate taster and Cocoa Expert. She's an expert associate of one of the world's largest chocolate festivals, Eurochocolate from Perugia. She will reveal all about chocolate and perform a real professional tasting of chocolate.
This year's chocolate Festival is fourth in a row and third coffee festival in a row. Every year, there's over 400,000 visitors and more than hundred vendors and exhibitors. The sweetest information – more than one ton of chocolate and/or coffee is consumed during the festival. You certainly want a piece of that ton!
Business hours during the festival are every day from 10 AM to 9 PM. Entrance is free.
