The Best Memories from Zagreb That You Can Take with You
Cups with red and white cubes, shirts, hats, magnets, paintings with motifs of Zagreb are just some of the 'ordinary' souvenirs which everyone usually buys when they visit Zagreb. But if you want to bring home or give to your friends an original gift, then you should not skip this article. :)
One of the most original collections of souvenirs you will ever find is the one located in the most attractive cultural center in the Upper Town. It is the Museum of Broken Relationships. It is not hard to guess that this museum whose exhibition concept is unique in the world has prepared numerous 'heartbreaking' objects and this is precisely in accordance with its name. :)

So, in memory of Zagreb, but also of this museum, you can buy T-shirts and bags with a patch for a broken heart and with the picture of tears. Trust me, you will be sad when your visit of Zagreb ends so this might be a good suggestion for you. :)

Also, in the museum, you can buy an Eraser for bad memories, a pencil which you can split into two parts when you are angry as well as numerous posts with positive thoughts for those who just broke up with their partner and decided to come to Zagreb and heal their broken heart in this beautiful city.
Souvenirs for true collectors
On the other hand, the Museum of Contemporary Art is also one of the museums which offers modern souvenirs. In the two gift shops, you can find and buy objects of Croatian artists. On the first floor, replicas of the most popular works of Atelier Kožarić, such as T-shirts and bags with prints, are sold. There is a souvenir for true collectors with deep pockets. It is a map with six original Kožarić drawings. For those who don't know, Ivan Kožarić is a Croatian artist who works primarily with sculptures that are characterized by a sense of mischief, spontaneity and by a nonchalant approach to life.
On the second floor of the museum, you can find specially designed shop "Shopworks" with items inspired by the works of Croatian and foreign artists to which the young designers gave a new form. In response to the wondrous wooden sticks of Andre Cadere, young designers created the "Ruler by mistake". Famous work of Boris Bućan - "Firebird" has been translated into the famous element of female seduction - socks, while the "Infinite stick" of Joseph Vaništa turned into "Infinite pen" which is deleting instead of writing.

Fragrant souvenirs which contain the soul of Zagreb
One of the most original Zagreb's souvenirs, you can find in the center of the fragrant oasis of Zagreb. Of course, it is about the line of scented products whose scents are inspired by the streets, monuments and culture of the city. Thus, in this store, you can buy a variety of scented diffusers for home, scented candles, replacement fillings and sprays for space and textiles.
But how these fragrances contain the soul of Zagreb? While finding a fragrance, the owners have been collaborating with the Botanical Garden in Zagreb to detect the characteristic scents of Zagreb in different seasons. Thus, the smells of roses, magnolia and poplar, patchouli and orange are inspired by old Zagreb's historical symbols. So you can surprise your friends with an authentic souvenir called ''The Witch of Grich'', ''The Well of Life'', and ''The Madonna of the Stone Gate''.

However, if you prefer classic souvenirs then the tie, popular Šestine's umbrella or local brandies and liqueurs might be the right presents for you. And for those who are in love and who want to surprise their partners, there is no doubt about which item to buy.
Licitar heart is the best gift ever you can buy to your partner. As one of the most traditional gifts, Licitar heart symbolizes love and affection. This colorfully decorated cake made of honey dough has been included on the UNESCO list of intangible world heritage in Europe since 2010.
I hope you like my suggestions on Zagreb souvenirs. And now, hurry up and buy some of them. :)
