#TouristsOfZagreb: An Instant Click!
As they describe themselves, Dane and Stacey are a pretty down to earth and a light-hearted couple from New Zealand. You may say they have a 21st-century dream job. They are full-time travelers, YouTubers, and Instagrammers. Digital nomads in a real sense of a word. By the end of 2018, this adventurous couple plans to reach an impressive mark of 50 countries they've visited and explored!
''We share the real costs of full-time travel and the incredible experiences along the way on our social media, predominantly YouTube and Instagram. It’s a way to showcase how amazing the world is, inspire others to travel, provide tips on places to visit and openly share how possible this way of life really is. We try and keep it real — positive vibes, great cinematics, and helpful information.''
They also have an amazing website where you can find tons of useful information about the destinations they visit. Dane and Stacey visited Zagreb and Croatia in September and told us their impressions of it.
Why Zagreb?
Croatia has always been on our bucket list but we'd never really researched too far into deciding which place to visit. In the last year or so we started hearing rumors about how underrated Zagreb was as a place to spend some time. Because we travel very slowly we decided to take a chance on Zagreb, and we're so pleased we did. We stayed for four weeks in Zagreb, just a two minute walk away from the center/walking streets.
First impressions
Our first impressions were instantly amazing. The people we met, the staff and waiters we spoke to, the beauty of the streets, incredible architecture, the feeling in the air - it's all very difficult to explain, but sometimes you just click with a location and Zagreb was one of those places for us.
The locals
Traveling full-time has its challenges, getting local insights and making friends can be a little difficult and the quality of the service you receive can have a significant impact on your feelings about a place. Everyone we met in Zagreb was amazing - from our accommodation host and her recommendations to the staff at our local gym, the friendly barber and the baristas making our coffees. As foreigners in a new city we always felt welcomed, we can say from the experience that isn't always the case in other countries and cities around the world.

Future recommendations
We would definitely come back to Zagreb, and we have highly recommended it multiple times in our videos. Hopefully, we can have some impact on others coming to explore the city by sharing our own love for it.
