International Fireworks Festival

Every year in the early summer, the city of Zagreb is the host of the international fireworks festival organized by "Mirnovec Fireworks Company". For Mirnovec, as the festival organizer, this is more than just a performance. Every year they are trying to provide something new and unique in the world of fireworks in order to impress visitors. Festival is located at lake Bundek, near Sava river. The citizens, passers-by, and many tourists are able to see and enjoy professional fireworks teams as they are creating unforgettable firework choreography which will leave you breathless.

What is typical for this kind of event is that, besides beautiful fireworks, visitors will have the opportunity to enjoy the exceptional gastronomy and show program - the concerts of famous Croatian artists, the performances of magicians, pageants and memorable time spent in the amusement park. Everyone will find something for themselves, for sure.

Croatia has already hosted some of the most famous performers of fireworks from Germany, China, Austria, Poland, Finland, Estonia, Czech Republic, Russia, Slovakia, Lithuania, Hungary, Italy, the Great Britain, France, Canada, Portugal, Romania, and the Philippines. All pyrotechnic teams are specialized in big public fireworks and they have years of experience. The Education Commission and the audience decide who will take the title of the Master of fireworks spectacle.

The entire three-day program is free, and the organizer gives a humanitarian character to the event, as well.
The 15th edition of International Fireworks Festival is being held between June 12th and June 14th.

So, at the beginning of the summer, you can enjoy the spectacular fireworks display that will long be remembered and relax with an excellent music program with your loved ones and the occasional cold drink. Lake Bundek is easily accessible by the tram lines 6 and 14 from the Zagreb's Main square or by line 7 if you are in Novi Zagreb. Also, you can use bus lines 234, 166, 268, 229, 221, 219 and 220 from the main railway station.
